Last updated: July 14, 2026
WeeMeet ("WeeMeet," "we," "us," or "our") operates the WeeMeet mobile application and the website at weemeet.app (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using WeeMeet, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up or sign in, we collect information such as your name, email address, and profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture) from your Google account, as authorized by you during sign-in.
Meeting and availability data. When you create or join a meeting in WeeMeet, we collect the meeting name, the days/times you and other participants mark as available, and the resulting scheduled time.
Device and usage information. We may automatically collect information about how you use the app, such as device type, operating system, and app interaction data, to help us maintain and improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Let you create meetings and coordinate scheduling with your group
- Match availability across participants and suggest meeting times
- Send you service-related communications (e.g., meeting invites, updates about a meeting you're part of)
- Maintain, secure, and improve the Service
- Communicate with you about updates to the beta and respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With other meeting participants. If you create or join a meeting, your name and the availability you submit are visible to other participants in that meeting.
- With service providers. We use third-party providers to operate WeeMeet, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, and app infrastructure), Google Sign-In, and Amazon Web Services (backend and admin infrastructure). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WeeMeet, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If WeeMeet is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Google User Data
If you use "Sign in with Google," WeeMeet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the minimum Google account scopes needed to authenticate you (basic profile and email) and do not use this data for advertising.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and meeting information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. You can also delete your account directly within the app (Settings → Delete Account), where available.
7. Children's Privacy
WeeMeet is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above, and, where appropriate, through the app or by email.
